Should i drop devery henderson

The loss overshadowed impressive performances from defensive end Will Smith and linebacker Jonathan Vilma. Smith's two sacks and forced left tackle Flozell Adams into a facemask penalty. Vilma was all over the field and had a team-high 14 tackles. After giving up the quick 14 points in the first quarter, this unit played solid but just couldn't get off the field on third down. It looked like the Cowboys wanted to run right at left defensive end Charles Grant. This unit was a mixed bag Saturday night.

Courtney Roby had a couple of big kickoff returns, including a yarder, but he was also called for an illegal block on a punt return that cost the Saints decent field position. Thomas Morstead had a good night punting the football, with three kicks more than 50 yards, but Dallas return man Patrick Crayton returned one 28 yards. Linebacker Jonathan Casillas failed to down a punt inside the 5-yard line that could have pinned the Cowboys. Garrett Hartley made his only attempt, a yarder, and he has to be happy he's not Nick Folk this morning.

The Dallas Cowboys' coaching staff definitely put together the better game plan Saturday night, attacking the Saints' weaknesses on defense Jenkins, Grant and taking away what Sean Payton and Drew Brees like to do on offense, beating teams with the deep ball.

The Vikings secondary isn't looking so good versus the Saints, so what does that mean for his fantasy value? The season is 16 games long, but here's what the Vikings game tells us about Henderson's value so far. Under good man-to-man coverage, Henderson kept his cool and caught the ball for a touchdown. First game of the year, primetime, and Henderson came through. Even though Henderson dropped the ball, he went over the middle, took to the air, took the hit, and didn't cause a turnover.

What about Colston, he's dropped about 50 percent of his passes. Devry's dropped two in two weeks, not worried yet. Click to expand Devery beats himself harder than anyone else can, he's a leader on this team.. Besides we need that speed and blockin ability.

Diamond VIP Contributor. Joined Feb 1, Messages 15, Reaction score 16, Devery had a lot of drops the first two seasons with the Saints and the reputation for dropping passes has seemed to follow him around even though over the latter part of his career drops have not been a big problem.

I doubt the long pass off his fingertips would be considered a drop. He has been our best deep ball threat during that time. Unfortunately his reputation for dropping passes has followed him even though he has been reasonably reliable the last few years. As others have pointed out, drops have been a bigger problem for Jimmy Graham this year than Devery.

Colston has had some recent struggles as well. All stats aside, he just doesn't look like he has the burst he did in years past. I expected to see him become more involved than in previous years with Meachem gone. Is father time slowly creeping up on him? TylerDurden All-Madden. Man, he has got to catch the ball with his hands, especially that 3rd and short, drag route. Hit him right in his hands, in stride. Come On Man! Oh, and yes, others have had drops this season too, which is one reason we are sitting at , but in the last weeks, Graham, Colston and Moore have corrected the issue with drops.

Well, maybe Graham had one yesterday, too. I kinda remember him having a drop. The point is Colston, Graham, and Moore have always been consistently good at catching balls, DH has not. I'm sure DH will get it together.
